Can we apply rash free cream on babies skin after applying moisturizers (Chicco brand ) and talcum powder ?

My kid has developed rashes because of dry skin and wanted to know if i can apply rash free cream (to avoid Diaper induced rashes) on the same area of Baby's skin that i have applied the moisturizer. Can we apply rash free cream on babies skin after applying moisturizers (Chicco brand ) and talcum powder ?
you most definitely can, the diaper cream is just to make a barrier between the skin and the diaper to prevent further irritation. There is this awesome brand dr. smith's....it is kinda pricey but it last forever and you don't need the moisturizer first. It clears rashes overnight. Can we apply rash free cream on babies skin after applying moisturizers (Chicco brand ) and talcum powder ?
not really use one or the other
Sure, why not? As long as you've used both products before and you know the baby isn't allergic to either of them it shouldn't be a problem to use them both at the same time. If you're worried you could use something chemical free as a moisturizer, like vaseline.
I would say yes, after the moisturizer. I never used powder with my baby- I think that was used more in the days of cloth diapers, which did not wick the moisture away from baby's skin like disposable diapers now do. Having said that, it seems like the powder would only add to the dry skin prob.
Don't use talcum powder!!! It can have serious effects on the lungs, especially in children. Their airways can easily become inflamed from the talc that gets into the air, and this can cause trouble breathing.Talc can also cause pneumonia and death. There is also speculation of talc increasing the risk of lung and ovarian cancer, although cancer links have not been proven. Anyway, I STRONGLY suggest buying a talc-free baby powder if you choose to use a powder at all.

As far as your actual question goes, I would suggest using the rash cream before the moisturizers so that you can make sure the rash cream reaches the affected area. I see no problem using both rash cream and a moisturizer if the rash was caused by dry skin. If the rash becomes severe, consult a doctor.

Hope this helps!
