nair is sometimes helpful! i have used it before and sometimes it leaves behind a rash well i am not even sure what it is but i think it is because of my type of skin or because i used too much on that area! hope i helped and good luck!!!!! :)

Did you use a hydrocortisone cream? If so, it will bleach the skin if used for more than a couple of days. The darker the skin the more noticeable.

Ralgex cream gave me redness rash can any one tell me how to get rid of the redness?
I too get this reaction from heat rubs - all you can do is try to cool the area with wet cloths. If you rub any cream in to it, it will only get more irritated. Usually mine dies down totally in a day or two. Antihistamines eg cetrizine can help a bit but wont totally fix it!

Use soap and lather well, apply it to face. Wash off with warm water.
Do this twice and then make sure the face is very warm. Towel dry but make sure skin is moist. Use a sharp plade and don't over shave the skin as this will irritate it.
Nivea for Men Sensitive Gel for shaving then use Nivea for Men After Shave Sensitive Balm.
Its really cool and relaxing to the skin. Especially sensitive skin. Also always change your blades or clean them frequently.

The doctor gave me 1% hydrocortisone cream for my baby's eczema when he was about that age, i use it when his eczema (which is mainly on his face) gets itchy twice a day for a few days and it improves. I was also using Aveeno cream to moisturize but this didn't have hydrocortisone in it. I would suggest you take the baby to the Dr who can prescribe the appropriate cream, that way he may also be able to find out what caused the rash in the first place. Over the counter cortisone is safe for a baby for a short time. Ok so i was an idiot and i used hair removal cream on my face just to see how well it would work and well i have this horrible rash on my face now on the side of my right cheek. How do i treat it or get rid of it?? It's really bad like a layer of my skin is gone. I had to wear heaps of foundation and concealer just to cover it up today.

Then apply E45 Cream to the affected area. This should sooth the area if it is hurting (as mine did)
Do not use any harsh or perfumed products on this area, as it could make it worse.
Keep it moisturised with the E45 Cream and Simple Moisturiser, as this has no bad chemicals, no perfume or colour- and its really cheap :L
Conceal with a cover stick, not a liquid concealer, as this makes the rash sting really badly
Then blend a foundation over it well
after following these steps mine was gone in two days
oh i almost forgot. At night hold a ice cold flannel over the area for 15- 20 mins, then switch to a warm one- i found this helped

His skin is becoming irritated by constant wetness because skin isn't designed to be wet all the time, it deteriorates it and causes a rash to build up. Vaseline will help to create a barrier between his skin and the wetness. Eucerin cream (which is also great for eczema) can help to soothe the skin. I've also heard diaper rash cream can be effective if the problem gets really bad because it soothes the skin, dries the area, and contains zinc oxide to block the moisture. I'm not sure how I would feel putting this on his face while he's awake though since it may get in his mouth.

I use Aquaphor on my boy on just about every thing that shows up. I have a friend who's a nurse and said that is the best all curring cream out there. It's about $7 a tube but it lasts a long time. Just one side note my son was diagnosed (similar symptoms, same diagnosis) with the non specific rash also and after many changes at our house from detergent to cleaning supplies, we went to another doctor and found out it was fifths disease (a childhood virus similar to chicken pox). You might want get a second opinion if the symptoms do not go away. As for a chlorine rash that would be a irritant to the skin so you would want to sooth the irritation to the skin with things like aloe and a moisturizing lotion. Good Luck

Leave the bandages on over night and repeat the procedure the following day. In 24 hours, the scabs will be gone and the area will be able to begin to heal. For the next 24 hours, keep your horse out of the mud, so the air can get to the area. The bacteria which causes mud rash is anaerobic, so it thrives without oxygen. Allowing the area to breathe without the scabs on is the best way to effect a cure.
Once you expose the area to mud again, ensure that you wash it with hibi scrub again, and dry the legs correctly.

How long have you been treating it? Maybe you just haven't given it long enough. Try letting him soak in the bath once or twice a day in addition to what you are doing. That usually helps my son by soothing him, plus making sure the area is much cleaner. If you are using baby wipes, know they they may be leaving a residue on him which isn't helping anything. The pharmacist told me not to use wipes when my son has this kind of rash, but to use a wet washcloth instead. If it's not better by the end of the weekend, see the doctor again in case it's something else.

Petrolatum clogs the pores and alcohol dries out the skin causing the body to produce too much sebum or natural oil therefore oiliness, acne, etc. Since you have an existing problem just stop using anything store bought, even out of health stores. You and everyone should be using natural skin care products that are truly natural with absolutely no synthetic ingredients.
