My son has a bad nappy rash and we have run out of cream, is there anything i can put on it?
I need any ideas on how to help a bad nappy rash for tonight, is there anything else i can put on it untill the morning? My son has a bad nappy rash and we have run out of cream, is there anything i can put on it?
keep his nappy off until he goes to sleep for the night. Don麓t put talc if he already has a rash. You can use cod liver oil or a waxy barrier cream. it would be best to change his nappy during the night so that urine does not come into contact with his skin.My son has a bad nappy rash and we have run out of cream, is there anything i can put on it?
put some vaseline on it for the night to help protect it from moisture. In the morning, i would go and get more cream right away. The vaseline won't help heal it, it will just help keep the moisture away.
Vaseline would do for the night. Don't use powder, when it gets wet it will clog together and be very uncomfortable.

wash the area down with luke warm water and then pat it dry and then put baby power on it, this will keep it dry and should stop it getting sorer than it already is, if its really bad take him to the doctors who will give you a huge tub of special cream, my son got it when his nappy rash was bad.. hope this helps, otherwise good home remedies for nappy rash might come up with something.
Vaseline might work. Or lotion without added perfumes or colors.
If you're absolutely desperate, thick cream or boiled milk might do the trick.
Good Luck!
Powder
bathe im with warm water and cotton wool, pat dry and let him have his nappy off for a while, fresh air is best
corn starch from the kitchen
maybe some vaseline or baby lotion. calamine lotion would cool the burning sensation down. don't you have a friend or neighbor with a baby you could ask to borrow some to you.
whip up an egg white and smear on his bum once its dry you can put the nappy back on.
Hi,
Don't use powder as it may get into their lungs and dry bottom out too much leaving it sore still.
Use olive oil.
Take half a teaspoon of clean water and put 2-3 drops of olive oil in it. Gently massage your baby's bottom with this solution.
To help the rash get better make sure you ...
Take the nappy off for a while to allow air
Change the nappy more frequently
Don't rub skin too hard to get dry - be gentle
Make sure bottom is dry before applying clean nappy
Lx
beaten egg whites whisk up till merangue like apply that it helped my kids
i would use cotton wool and water on his bottom and keep his nappy off for as long as you can change the nappy every hour it might not be that wet but the littlest bit of urine will make him sore
sorry no idea, but wally world walgreens and places like that are open 24/7
If it's a really bad rash, I'd advise egg white (like someone else suggested). It will dry the rash up overnight. However, if your son has shown any sign of any allergies, or any allergies run in the family, don't do it just in case.

My staff dog has a rash like a cold sore round his mouth what cream should i put on?
Take him to the vet. Unless you know what you are doing, you could make things worse by trying to treat him yourself.
PaulMy staff dog has a rash like a cold sore round his mouth what cream should i put on?
Considering staffys - I would check to find what he has been chewing to cause the ';rash';.
It may be abrasions from something he has chewed at or it could be a reaction from something he chewed. My staff dog has a rash like a cold sore round his mouth what cream should i put on?
Ive a staff and there always coming up in rashes the vet said staffs suffer with acne and eczema
really you should take him to the vets, however i would use what humans use i always give my staff paracetamol if he hurts himslef but ths only if he doesnt need a vet. i even give my horses benylin when they have a cough. i think if it dont hurt us it wont hurt them.
I would not put any cream on it with out seeing your vet first as it could just make it worse
whatever the vet gave you will be fine.
When your dog is ill and you do not know exactly what is wrong, don`t ask `laymen`, take him to your vet. It could be an infection that needs antibiotics. Your dog could be in pain, he can`t tell you. Take him to the Vet. The P.D.S.A. will treat him free if you cannot afford to pay.myspace commentes

Are there diaper rash creams you can use with cloth diapers?
(Without staining or absorbency issues, etc.?)Are there diaper rash creams you can use with cloth diapers?
I used Sudocream for my little one's rashes, which she rarely got thanks to the cloth diapers. I didn't find that it made any difference to the cloth diapers. Are there diaper rash creams you can use with cloth diapers?
If you're using cloth diapers, I think you would be happy with organic diaper creams. They tend to be less oily and a little bit goes a long way. California Baby, Little Twig and Nature's Baby Organics make some great diaper creams. We use them on our baby boy and they clear up rashes fast.
If you have trouble finding these products, shop at BabyEarth.com - http://www.babyearth.com/california-baby鈥?/a>
Avoid anything with petroleum products. They will cause absorbency issues. I found when we were using cloth we did not really need to use anything. The cloth did not seem to cause any rash issues.
I use a liner to prevent the diaper rash creams from staining my diapers and resulting in less absorbency. For the cream, I use Butt paste, which works great!
We haven't had any diaper rash, but our DD has had a little bit of redness in her butt crack area before. We used Butt Butter that I got for free from BabysBottomLine.com
But they carry it too.
ummm thts a hard 1 try maybe talcum powder

Deos anyone know of a good cream for 'under-boob' rash.?
It's most unpleasant!Deos anyone know of a good cream for 'under-boob' rash.?
zinc oxide, found in diaper rash creams, works quite well, the irritation under the breasts comes from friction and moisture, much like diaper rash. Give it a try.Deos anyone know of a good cream for 'under-boob' rash.?
there's that new gel to powder cream...
or you could try diaper rash ointment...
You could always try squirty cream, it's cool and refreshing.
diaper rash cream
spray on powder
the spray on powder stuff that is used for thighs rubbing together
and dermoplast
This redness in crevices (like under the breast) comes from too much moisture. The docs I work with treat it with Nystatin powder. The main objective is to eliminate the moisture. After you shower, rinse well, dry well and apply baby powder (lightly) or use corn starch. Get it from the baking section at the grocery store. It's cool and soothing...and inexpensive.

My friend had scabies. Rash disappeared after he applied the cream which Doctor advised him. now rash has ?
Now the rash has reappeared . It does not go away even after application of the same cream. Doctor is on leave......Please help.My friend had scabies. Rash disappeared after he applied the cream which Doctor advised him. now rash has ?
The rash may not be re-infestation of scabies but could be eczema due to the cream itself. Your skin gets very sensitive and can react to the pesticide cream. Also there can still be itching after the scabies is killed for a few weeks, so you can't go by that.
Find out if the cream was applied properly (ie under the finger and toe nails too and on bottom of feet etc. Also was the bedding washed and clothes from that week in hot water and put in hot dryer for 45 minutes or more? It can help to get a mattress cover that's vinyl too.

well i would tell ';your friend'; to go back to the doctor. and you should avoid ';your friend'; until its taken care of. Scabies is contagious.
tell your friend to try going to a different doctor..

let the baby run around for a while without a diaper sure she/he might pee on stuff just clean it up the air will help it heal because it can breathe! my only other thing is asap go to the store and get some other stuff but i think the best thing is just let them run around without a diaper =)I am out of cream for my 14mo diaper rash, any home remedies out there?
Vaseline if you have it. It's all I use. Switch to cloth diapers as well, disposables cause all kinds of skin problems. Go with out a diaper as much as possible. A thick layer of Vaseline or whatever petroleum jelly works well when you do put a diaper on.I am out of cream for my 14mo diaper rash, any home remedies out there?
