Best diaper rash cream/remedy?

My daughter is a week shy of 8 months and i believe she has diaper rash they are tiny about as large as a finger nail splotches only about 4 of them its not that bad at all, but ive been using destin creamy for a week now it seems ok for a day then goes back to being red, so i night balmex and the same thing happen... its not that bad by any means i just feel bad for her.. thanks!!Best diaper rash cream/remedy?

my son also has a rash. i was using desatin for about a week and it was getting any better so i called the nurse at the pediatricians and asked them what i should be using. she told me the best kind over the counter rash cream is butt paste. i've been using it for about 3 days now and its already looking better. she said to spread it on thick like frosting wherever the rash is.
maybe rule out that she isnt allergic to anything. has she had anything new? if so that could be it. some ways you know your little one is allergic to a new food is a diaper rash, cause if it was just a regular diaper rash it should have disappeared in 2 days after using cream.
What worked the best was during the day have as much diaper free time as possible and than at night a diaper rash cream called IHLE'S PASTE It is very thick and usually was still on my kids bottoms in the morning Just put in on heavily.
the best remedy that I have found is a combination of a neosporin like ointment and baby powder with cornstarch the cornstarch zaps it right off it works like a charm every time.
Any rash that is chronic (reoccurring) or won't go away for more than a couple of days should be seen by a DR. It could be thrush or some other yeast infection, they will not be cured by diaper rash cream.
I like Aveeno baby products. Natural oatmeal is great for baby's skin and doesn't have all the added color and fragrance!!
i tried generic brands that didnt work so my husband suggested we buy A+D since my hubby uses that for cuts. so we used it and the rash cleared up fast.
