Diaper rash cream....?

What diaper rash cream do you use? Do you like it?

My daughter is sick right now and has HORRIBLE diaper rash. I use the pinxav and with this diaper rash it didn't seem to help at all. I talked to her Dr yesterday and he said to use the Triple Paste. So I am trying that. If this doesn't work I will try A%26amp;D, but is there any other one that you would recommend?Diaper rash cream....?
I had good luck with Desitin.Diaper rash cream....?
We started off using some nice natural cream, but in the end what worked was Sudocrem - http://www.sudocrem.com/ - you put on a thick layer and it stops dampness getting back to the area while healing the sore spots. It's also good to leave the nappy off for a while whenever you can to let the air get to her bottom!
Butt Paste works really well. My son had a rash before and it cleared when we switched to cloth diapers for a while. If your child is always wearing a diaper then his/her skin will never really get a breathe.
She may be allergic to the diapers. Try using a cloth diaper and change her often. If you keep the house really warm then allow her to ';air out'; for a few minutes between changes. Clean her well and apply the A%26amp;D ointment. Also, If she is sick - are you giving her juice to keep her from dehydrating? If so this could be the cause from the diaper rash - try pedialyte or just bottled water.
Aveeno has always been our first choice. If the rash is really, really bad, and it oozes, you could even add a little antibiotic ointment. If it looks like a yeast infection, also add a little antifungal cream (like lotrimin). Our pediatrician says when the rash is particularly bad to use all three at the same time, and the rash improves. Good luck.
I use Desitin Creamy Overnight relief or protection and it works great! Thats all I use.
wer use zincofax extra strength. we tried the normal one but it didnt work so we tried extra strength and it worked wonders.
A %26amp; D has been the best. U should try to leave your little one without a diaper for some time let her free ball. I know it will get messy but the free will help dry the rash. U should also try corn starch. I did that for my daughter with the airing out without a diaper and her rash immediately starting to get better. I hope this helps.
i have been using desitin and it works pretty good. i heard that but past works aawsomly they sell it at babies r us for about $4 in a tub. my baby really never had diaper rash so didnt get to try it
A%26amp;D has worked well for us and our 8 month old.
I use A%26amp;d or burts bees
Resinoh is the best! I am friends with a pharmacist and he recommended this to me. Not all pharmacies have it, and if they do they will keep it behind the counter. Target is the place that I know has it for sure. My son's diaper rash was cleared tremendously by the next diaper change. It is about $9.00 for a tub of it, but it is soooo worth it.

Good luck!
Hi. I've found that Baby Petroleum Jelly works REALLY well for my son's diaper rash and it's less expensive and you get more of it! I'm sure you could find it a your local drug store/pharmacy. I bought the store brand they had and worked just as effectively as more expensive brands. Hope your little one is doing better!
do they have sudocrem in your country? Its the best for ANY skin condition
I used Boudreoux's with my son and it worked GREAT! The only time it didnt work and clear everything up was when the Dr. told me that he had a yeast infection from being on alot of antibiotics for his ears. If you can find the boudreoux's Id try that and it it doesnt clear up in 2-3 days Id take her back to the Dr. to find out if its something more serious than a diaper rash, until then you can also get some baking soda and put alittle in a warm bath to help soothe her. Hope it works and she gets better!! Good Luck!!
With my son and now with my nephews we use Desitin Diaper Rash Ointment...the original one. It works great...prevents and treats diaper rash. I hope it helps your daughter if u decide to use it.
bodreaux's butt paste, and balmex, a%26amp;d is good - alternate between them.
I have 3 kids and 2 of them are still in diapers (yikes i know) but on all of them I have sworn by A%26amp;D and Desitin. I dont use the desitin creamy because it doesnt work as well. But if money is any problem, the generic (at wal-mart) of both of these works just as well. Take a deep breath (Its going to be ok) and just slather on some A%26amp;D or Desitin and you could even use a spinkle of baby powder (use the pure cornstarch) for extra protection. Good Luck and keep up the good work!!
Boudreaux's butt paste is awesome! Also it might be a yeast infection when my son has these we use lotrimin af and it clears it up right away. The doctor recommended this to us when we couldn't get the rash to go away. also give her a bath and let her be free from her diaper for a while to dry it out, the rash needs that warm moist place to continue.
I had a friend that is a nurse and she said at the hospital they would use Desitin with Tums crushed up in it for bad rashes. I always used Desitin myself. If the rash is too bad and doesn't appear to be getting any better, check with your doctor. They can develop a fungal infection, which would require a different kind of cream.
Try grapeseed oil. My doctor reccomended it for my daughter and it works great.
I just use A%26amp;D or regular desitin. Put it on after every diaper change, and also make sure to give her bottom some time in the air.
desitin is amazing, my baby had a horrible diaper rash, it was bleeding (i thinkher daycare wasn't changing her diapers enough cuz she doesn't fuss when they are dirty) we had been using balmex and it did NOTHING. i started rotating between desitin and vaseline. the desitin will heal and vaseline will help prevent her behind from getting wet at all. it was totally cleared up in 2 days. also if it persists take her in, it could be a fungal rash, mommy knows best
We use Dr. Smith's. It worked very very good.
I usually use A%26amp;D Ointment or Nursery Jelly, they work great. If your daughter is sick and has diarrehea is may not be a rash, but a yeast infection. My daughter was sick and had diarrehea and when I called the dr because no matter what I did or used it would not go away he told me that a lot of babies that have diarrehea end up with a nasty looking yeast infection and to use Lotrimin cure athlete's foot only on the red areas, so I tried it thinking he didn't know what he was talking about, but after 24hrs it worked and she had no rash!!!! And I mean I tried everything, they had out and nothing was working, but that did!! Good Luck!!
Those are about it, but if it dosn't start going away it could be a yeast diaper rash and there is prescription medicine called Vusion. By Moday if it hasn't gone away I would be at the doctors office to get a prescription.

My daughter was sick like that and had diarreha and vomiting with her diaper rash. Hers was so bad her bottom was raw and i went through all the diaper rash creams and they didn't work.
