Diaper rash cream on heat rash?

ok so my daughter has like 3 chins(shes a chunky little baby. hehe) she is 4 months old by the way, but anyway when i was giving her a bath the other day i noticed she has heat rash on her neck under all that chubbiness. my sister says i should put desitin on it? has anyone ever done this and if so does it work???Diaper rash cream on heat rash?

they dont work. Heat rash is diff to nappy rash. Heat rash = heat in body therefore its connected internally. nappy rash occured externally and friction of nappy on skin. make sure she has alot of water and juices in her diet. fruits and veggies and no constipation. introducing more water and fluids in diet will help get rid of heat rash. you might have to go docs for the prescribed cream for heat rash.
I'm guessing it's more similar to a diaper rash than a heat rash, yes? You can put diaper rash cream on it, but a mix of hydrocortison cream and eucerin cream may work better.
Use Angel Baby Bottom Balm. We use it on everyone in my house for rashes, scrapes, bug bites, everything. It is amazing. It will take care of her heat rash.
Don't use hydrocortise for long periods of time, only for 7 days max.
