it really is amazing stuff. if it looks like its going to bleed, try changing the diaper more often and take your baby in to the doctor to make sure it isnt a %26lt;b%26gt;yeast infection%26lt;/b%26gt;
they are rare, especially in boys, but they do happen.
and its okay if you dont know what diaper rash is, looks like, or how to treat it. every new mom has to learn somewhere...
i hope your baby feels better soon :)What is diaper rash cream for?
no baby powder.
Diaper rash cream is for exactly that. put that on.
P.S. It cant bleed.
Diaper Rash Cream is what it is!
My son has had diaper rash maybe 3 times. He is 13 months. Yes it can bleed if it's bad enough. I use Aquaphor Healing Ointment. (from Eucerin)...it works wonders...it's alittle pricey but it's the best I have used and seen. Diaper rash comes from not changing Diapers often enough and or teething...just keep a good eye on it.
Use the Diaper rash cream for baby's behind, don't use powder it will make the rash worst [ it will burn more ].
You can also use A %26amp; D Ointment on baby. I prefered the A%26amp;D it has vitamins that will replace what the burn has taken out of baby's bottom.
I left diapers off for a while. {we never had pampers}
no powder, use the cream asap, bathe your babies bottom too this will help, try laying him on his mat without a nappy to get air around his bits this will help too. look for a cream called bepanthen its great, that will sort it in no time i promise!
Air dry keep the diaper off as much as you can.
yes that's what is for, just read!
Um, what else would it be for??? Yes, that is exactly what Ddiaper rash cream is for!! Do you have a fussy baby? His/her butt hurts and that cream will offer some relief. Apply it thick! The best is Boudreaux's Butt Cream (Wal-mart).
Baby Powder if inhaled can hurt the babys lungs because of the Talc in it, and for the Diaper Rash cream just rub on baby's butt and away he goes!! Good Luck
Desitin makes the best diaper rash medicine!!!
It could be the diaper itself that is causing problems, some kids are allergic. You might want to try a different brand,
The best thing to do is leave the diaper off as much as you can, let her get a little air on it, a little sunshine wouldn't hurt either, natural vitamins there!!
Yes, that would probably work. if it looks like it is going to bleed you should call the doctor and bring your baby in. I wouldn't risk anything with a 2 week old. Call the doctor.
Butt Paste is a good diaper rash cream too!!
use the cream i found drapolen was great and yes it can bleed it turns into an open sore and weep and it is really painful but remember too much cream can make it worse put the powder on top and if you run out of cream use vasaline it acts as a barrier and powder on top it stops it from feeling uncomfy and change their bum real regular and if you can leave the nappy off for a while each day just put a towel underneath
You can use the Huggies diaper rash cream.. You can also put some vaseline and then sprinkle some baby powder on top.
Try to keep the diaper off for a little while if you can, it helps if it exposed to air.
Also try using a warm washcloth after a diaper change, sometimes the wipes are too harsh when they are red and sore.
Hope that helps!
If the baby's bottom is red and rashy looking, then that it what the cream is for. If the rash looks like it is going to bleed and has open sores then I would call the doctor before putting anything on it. Soaking in warm water, using washcloths instead of baby wipes, leaving your baby's diaper off for a little bit will all help prevent diaper rash. And for what it is worth, I think Desitin makes the best diaper rash cream. In the future, try changing him or her a little more often, and if that doesn't help, switch diaper brands. My kids all had weird reactions to diffenent brands of diapers.
That is what diaper rash medicine is for... BUT, I'll tell you what I've found to work best. Plain ol' vaseline. Put a layer on and it will keep all moisture from getting onto baby's skin, therefore eliminating diaper rash. ALWAYS worked quick for my kids.
Umm, you are asking if diaper rash cream is for diaper rashes? Geez. It's gonna be a long 18 years!
You need something that will create a barrier between the baby and his waste. I agree with the A%26amp;D ointment. Diaper rash cream can be so hard to wash off. Keep your baby's bottom clean with soap and water and keep it dry as much as you can. Keep diapers off unless absolutely necessary until the rash is healed. After the rash is healed continue to clean the baby's bottom as mentioned above instead of using wipes and change diapers often. Wipes can be used when not at home. Baby powder should not be used at all.
If it's a bad rash sometimes using a%26amp;d diaper rash ointment is better, it doesn't have something in it like the other creams (I forget what) so it's less harsh on their bottoms. It can bleed if it gets bad enough..I wouldn't use powder if it's that bad. Try and let him air dry as much as possible as well.
girl you didny pay attention to anything in prenatel care you dummy. wake up smell the coffee
Yes, slather some of it all over baby's bottom with every diaper change, and make sure you change the diapers promptly.. It should clear up within a day.. The Diaper Rash Cream soothes, and clears up the redness..
thats what its for. slather it on real thick after each diaper change.
use diaper rash cream that is what it is there for
