My little un has nappy rash what cream is best to use as iv used bepanthan and sudocrem they dont seem to work

nappy rash creams are most effective when used as a preventative measure, they help slightly with existing rashes....

*Stop using wipes until the rash is cleared up, use warm, wet baby face cloths instead. Then switch to fragrance free wipes.

*Have a lot of nappy free time, just lay a towel out on the floor for bubs to play on- s/he'll love the freedom, too!

*Change the nappy every two-three hours when just wet and immediately when there is poo.

*Use nipple cream like lansinoh on the effected area until the rash is gone in addition to bepanthen or whatever. My little un has nappy rash what cream is best to use as iv used bepanthan and sudocrem they dont seem to work
I had the same problem when my girls had a nappy rash and I used bepathan or sudocrem (whichever I had at the time as I used either) then after applying cream, sprinkle some baby powder over as well. Cleared the rash up so fast.

Also another good treatment is when you give bub's a bath get some oats (the ones you use for porridge) and put a handful in the foot of a stocking. tie it off of course and chuck it in the bath, really helps. My little un has nappy rash what cream is best to use as iv used bepanthan and sudocrem they dont seem to work
Try zinc cream or if the rash is raised, try daktozin which is a bit of an anti fungal cream

Also Curash powder seems to help my little one, we put on the daktozin or zinc cream and then the curash powder.

We found using a more expensive brand of nappies for the night time was helpful as they were more absorbent
Hi, my son had bad nappy rash. Bless his cotton socks, and no matter how many times I changed his nappy, it still looked awful!

Then I found

Metanium Nappy Rash Ointment

Its a yellowy cream, and you only need a small amount. It's fantastic. I rubbed it in one evening after a bath and then the following morning it had gone.

They sell it in Boots or try ebay:

When my son was in the hospital, he had a really bad rash. The hospital started him on Desitin. However it didn't seem to help much. Although expensive we found that, a layer of Proshield Plus on the bare bottom. Then sprayed with Cavilon, a no sting barrier film worked best. His bottom cleared in about 2 days.
it's probably a fungus, a yeast infection, and requires special medication, cream, from the doctor
a cream that mum brought over from germany called penarten ( not the right spelling but that how u would say it) it awsome stuff and good for all ages.
balmex....a%26amp;d ointment.....boudreaux's butt paste
